William R. "Bill" Fisher

William Robert “Bill” Fisher, 65,  passed away unexpectedly September 13th, 2021. Bill was born May 25th 1956 in Cumberland Maryland to Charles and Lillian Fisher of Bedford Pa.

He was preceded in death by his sister Susan Fisher. He's survived by His three sons Shane, Landon & Aaron Fisher, grandson Dominic Foltin, his 4 sisters Patricia Kirk, Mary Lashley and husband Sam of Bedford. Lynn Baer and husband Mark of Bedford, Dana Burket of Virginia & a brother Charles Fisher and wife Charlene of Bedford Pa.

Bill was a talented concrete mason and a hard worker. First learning at a young age & continuing in that trade throughout his life.

He was a social butterfly with many friends. He was quick witted always ready with a joke. He had a kind heart and was widely known as the type of person that wanted to help others any way that he could.

Bill enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida where he also made lifelong friends. He was a member of The American Legion and Bedford VFW.

He was a loving father and a great guy. He will be sorely missed & his memories will live on for years to come.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 5-7PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 2-4PM at the Bedford American Legion.

A Trust Fund has been set up at Hometown Bank, Bedford, C/O Lynn Baer to help with Funeral expenses for Bill.
