William "Ronald" Ketterman

Mr. William "Ronald"  Ketterman, 81, of Country Ridge Road, Bedford, died Monday, February 22nd, 2016 at Homewood at Martinsburg.

Mr. Ketterman was born in Bedford on Thursday, July 19, 1934, the son of the late Anderson and Nevia (O'Neal) Ketterman.

On May 1, 1953, he married Shirley M. (Fetter) Ketterman.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Jackie L. Ketterman, companion of Melvin Musselman, Woodbury; Daughter- Michele J. Dibert, wife of Kerry, Alum Bank; Granddaughter - Quincy Dibert; Sister- Jean McClure, Huntingdon; Sister- Eleanor Giffin, wife of Gerry, Empire, MI; Sister- Hazel Kendall, wife of Ed, Bedford; Brother- Joe Ketterman, Margate, FL. He was preceded in death by a sister, Laverna Ketterman.

Ron was a member of the St. Paul Reformed Church in Cessna and served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He worked for Owens-Illinois Glass Co, Jay Blackburn, and Blackburn Russell.  Ron also enjoyed jockeying cars for several dealerships and going to the car auctions with his buddies.  He retired from Kennemetal Foundry.    He loved riding his motorcycle, bicycle, and scooter.  He also loved mowing the grass with his John Deere.  He took pride in everything he owned.  He loved his church and helping his family, friends, and  neighbors.  Ron was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ron to the St. Paul's Reformed Church, 5643 Business 220, Bedford, PA 15522.
