William "Bill" Stenning

William “Bill” Stenning, 61, of New Enterprise, formerly of Round Hill, Va., passed away at his home Thursday morning Sept 5, 2019, after a long and brave battle with cancer.

He was born June 4, 1958.

Bill lived his life to the fullest; he was a paramedic, firefighter, airline pilot, and lifetime farmer.

He was the proud father of his two vivacious daughters. When not hard at work, Bill was either on an adventure with his family or visiting his friends.

Bill is survived by his brother, Daryl, of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Evelyn, of Charleston, S.C.; his wife, Rachel; and daughters, Lily and Mary.

A viewing will be held Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Woodbury Church of the Brethren, with a service to follow. He will be laid to rest next week at Ketoctin Church, Round Hill, Virginia. Arrangements entrusted to Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
