William "Bill" E. Fochtman
November 16, 1934 — July 10, 2013
Mr. William E. "Bill" Fochtman, age 78, of New Baltimore, died at 6:50 AM on Wednesday, July 10th, 2013 at Meyersdale Medical Center.
Mr. Fochtman was born in Friedens, on Friday, November 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Lawrence "Dutch" and Elizabeth "Dolly" (Ellenberger) Fochtman.
Bill was employed at the former Howard Johnsons Restaurant along the turnpike, and also for the Walters Farm, both in New Baltimore.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Baltimore, and the New Baltimore Sportsmans Club.
Bill is survived by Brother- Paul Fochtman, New Baltimore; Sister- Joyce wife of Ray Lohr, Norfolk, VA. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 Brothers - James and Alfred Fochtman.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 9:00 AM with Father George Jakopac, celebrant.
Committal Services will be held at St. Johns Church Cemetery, New Baltimore.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
A vigil for the deceased will be held Friday at the funeral home.
