William A. Wedge, Sr.

Mr. William A. Wedge, Sr., 70, of Rebecca Drive, Manns Choice, died at 9:45 AM, Sunday, January 1st, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Wedge was born in Meyersdale on Tuesday, January 14, 1941,  the son of the late John A. Wedge, Sr. and Pearl Catherine Wedge.

He is survived by  Son- William A. Wedge, Jr., Manns Choice; Daughter- Julia O'Sullivan, Jacksonville, FL; Daughter- Amy, Lakeland,FL; Brother- Gary Wedge, Grantsville, MD; Sister- Betty Lou Hoover, Akron, OH; Nephew- Robert Wedge, Jr., Meyersdale; Cousin- Pat Wedge, Connellsville.  He was preceded in death by an infant brother and by a brother, John Wedge, Jr.

He was employed at New Enterprise Stone and Lime as a road building superintendent.

Interment will be held at  Union Cemetery in Meyersdale.

A Memorial Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home,Schellsburg,  at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2012 with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
