William G. Miller

Mr. William G. Miller, 84, of Hoover Road, Schellsburg, died at 9:50 AM, Tuesday, January 15th, 2013 at Pennknoll Village.

Mr. Miller was born in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County on Tuesday, April 10, 1928,  the son of the late Robert and Florence Keller. He was reared by his grandparents, the late William C. and Virgie Miller.

On July 10, 1950, he married Grace (Weyant) Miller.  She preceded him in death on May 4, 1996.

He is survived by  Son- William G. Miller, II husband of  Bobbie Jo (Dively), Schellsburg. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Angela Rae Bender & Andrew Scott Miller, and five great grandchildren, Owen and Anna Grace Bender and Elijah, Jonaah & Josiah Miller.

Bill was a member of the Manns Choice Church of God.  He retired from Poorbaugh Lumber Company where he worked in the grading mill.  Bill enjoyed attending church and worshiping the Lord.  He liked going to the Dollar Store and hunting and fishing.  He often took on the role of caregiver to many members of his family.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Manns Choice Church of God, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 17th, 2013  with Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.

Interment will be held at  Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the church in Manns Choice.
