William "Bill" C. Myers

William "Bill" C. Myers, 86, of Bedford, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 13, 2024 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Bill was born in Cumberland on November 7, 1937, son of the late Lester C. and Daisy (Gordon) Myers.

On March 15, 1958, he married his wife Ada Mae (Kegg), of Bedford.

He is survived by daughter- Vickie Styer, of Bedford; son- Vaughn husband of Teresa (Pepple) Myers, of Bedford; daughter- Charlotte wife of David Mohr, of Bedford; son- Scott husband of Leslie (Cline) Myers, of Bedford; along with 15 grandchildren: Ben, Lacey, Willie, Shaun, Ryan, Krista, Rachel, Kyler, Tanner, Cody, Gunnar, Mackenzie, Dane, Trey, and Lane; 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson; son-in-law Norman Sollenberger, of New Enterprise; brother- James L. Myers, of MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by daughter- Cindy L. Sollenberger; great-granddaughter- Madison Waltemire; and sisters: Jenny Evans and Carol Feaster.

Bill enjoyed hunting, coaching softball, lambs and goats and was an active member of the Bedford County Fair. He received the Distinguished Friends of the Fair Award. Bill loved agriculture, bred cows and knew every farm in Bedford County.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 10-11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford with Pastor David Mohr officiating.

Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.
