Willard H. "Red" Stiffler, 90, of Masters Ave, Everett, formerly of Bedford died at 7:25 AM, Monday, December 2, 2019 at Rebecca's Personal Care Home, Everett.
Mr. Stiffler was born in Quemahoning Twps. Somerset County on April 7, 1929, son of the late Charles and Beatrice ( Mussleman) Stiffler.
On October 11, 1983 Willard married Imogene K. (Benning) Fochtman-Stiffler. She preceded him in death on May 25, 2002.
He is survived by Daughter- Debbie K. Schafer, Somerset; Son- Jay husband of Robin Stiffler, Wattsburg; Daughter- Lisa wife of Jack Shields, Friedens; Step Daughter- Mary (Fochtman) Caton, Berlin; Step Son- Samuel husband of Linda (Hoffman) Fochtman, Berlin; Step Son- Harry husband of Wilma (Brick) Fochtman, Berlin; Step Daughter- Rita wife of Roger Lewis, Manns Choice; Step Son- George husband of Sandra (Restley) Fochtman, Berlin; Step Daughter- Anna wife of Steve Hankinson, New Baltimore; Step Daughter- Dorothy wife of Harley Bowser, Manns Choice; Brother- Merle Stiffler, Chambersburg; Sister- Laura Bloom, Chambersburg; Niece- Bonnie Wertz, Bedford; 1st Wife Ethel Miller- Stiffler, Meyersdale. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Willard was preceded in death by Sisters Anna Hall and Charlotte Hite, Brothers Tom and Lee Stiffler, Step-son John Fochtman and Step-daughter Pauline Sarver.
Red was a Truck Mechanic at Spector Freight, B&P Motor Freight and Bedford County Stone and Lime.
Willard served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 1-5PM Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
