Wesley J. “Pink” Cessna, 78, of Stillhouse Lane, Bedford, died Friday, January 1, 2021 at UPMC Magee Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Mr. Cessna was born in Cumberland , MD on April 17, 1942, son of the late William W. and Goetha (May) Cessna.
He was the widower of Bonnie Kay (Oberle) Cessna. She preceded him in death on January 6, 2019.
He is survived by Brother- George Cessna, Nebraska; Brother- Lloyd "Tex" husband of Shirley (Wolfe) Cessna, Charlesville; Sister- Becky wife of Bill Wolfe, Friends Cove; Brother- Lawrence "Rabbit" Cessna, Rainsburg. Wesley was preceded in death by his wife, Brothers- H. Lee, William "Pud", Dale and Clarence "Sambo" Cessna and sisters- Joan King and Edna "Pet" Howsare.
Wesley served his country in the U.S. Army. After his service in the Army Pink then became a Truck Driver.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed trapping.
A Graveside Service will be held at Woods Church Cemetery, Colerain Township at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 9, 2021 with Rev. Bill Shrout officiating.
