Wayne A. Diehl

Wayne A. Diehl, 66, of Ellis Road, Schellsburg, died Friday, March 26, 2021 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital, Snake Spring Twp.

Mr. Diehl was born in East St. Clair Twp., on June 12, 1954,  son of the late Charles O. and Anna Lois (Smith) Diehl.

On June 16, 1978 Wayne married B. Suzanne (May) Diehl.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Heather wife of  Paul Isaac, Salt Lake City, UT; Grandchildren Harper and Landen; Sister- Betty A. Davis, Dover and Sister-in-law Linda (Harbaugh) Diehl, York.  Wayne was preceded in death by Brother- Robert E. Diehl.

Wayne was a 1972 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School.

He retired in 2017 from Kennametal in Bedford where he worked as a CNC Machinist.

Wayne was a member of Point United Methodist Church, Bedford. He was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Bow and Gun Club and the NRA.

He enjoyed hunting, target shooting, working in the garage and helping Tommy. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 10-11AM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home.

Memorial Service at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 31st,  with Paul Isaac officiating.

Those in attendance are asked to observe the recommendations pertaining to wearing masks and social distancing.
