Wanda J. (Burdette) Ritchie

On Sunday, November 1, 2020, Mrs. Wanda J. Ritchie entered the presence of her Savior at the age of 84.

Born Wanda Jean Burdette in Huntington, W. Va., Wanda met her future husband, Rev. G. Robert Ritchie, at the New Tribes Bible Institute in Jersey Shore, PA. They served the Lord together for 42 years until his death in 1998.

A loving mother and grandmother, Wanda will be forever remembered by her two daughters: Sharon Karns, of Bedford; and Robin Walton, of Wilkes-Barre, PA; as well as by her 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Wanda was a member of the Bedford Bible Church, where she served faithfully as a children's Sunday School teacher and ladies' Bible teacher for many years. She loved teaching the word of God.

Viewing will be at the Bedford Bible Church on Thursday, November 5, 2020, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Wanda will be buried at Ritchey Cemetery beside her husband.
