Virginia A. (Arnold) Kachurik

Mrs. Virginia A. Kachurik,87, of Meadowbrook Terrace, Bedford, died at 4:15 PM, Sunday, January 22nd, 2012 at Colonial Courtyard.

Mrs. Kachurik was born in Bedford Township on Monday, October 20, 1924,  the daughter of the late W. Dennis and Dorothy Elizabeth (Donahoe) Arnold.

On October 20, 1951, she married Adam J. Kachurik.  He preceded her in death on November 5, 1992.  She is survived by a number of cousins.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Arnold.

Virginia was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford.  She graduated in 1943 from the Adele Allen Beauty School in Altoona.  Virginia then opened the Vogue Beauty Shop in Bedford and owned and operated it for 62 years.

A Funeral Mass will be held  at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bedford, PA. at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 27th,  with Father Donald Dusza celebrant.

Committal Service will be held at the St Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Bedford.

At Virginia's request there will be no visitation
