Victoria Betty "Jean" (Dull) Huntsman

Victoria Betty "Jean" Huntsman, 92, of Bedford went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at ProMedia Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Bedford.

She was born in Napier Twp., on October 31, 1930, daughter of the late Victor and Nellie (Schilling) Dull.

On November 4, 1950, she married Roy S. Hunstman. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1973.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey L. Huntsman, Bedford, Deborah K. (Huntsman) Brannan wife of Michael, Evington, VA; Samuel C. Huntsman, Bedford; 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother- Gary Dull husband of Joanne, Bedford; brother- Wayne Dull husband of Debbie, Bedford; sister- Nancy Layton, Everett; sister- Evelyn "Toot" Curry, W. Bridgewater, MA; sister-in-law- Betty J. Dull, Bedford and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Roy, brothers- Gregory John Dull, Sheldon Thomas Dull and Donald Dean Dull, infant brother-Kenneth Dull, sisters- Eleanor Trant and Leona "Bon" Martinozzi.

Jean worked at Fairfoot Shoe Factory in Wolfsburg for many years and then did house for several people before retiring.

She was a member of the Tulls Hill Bible Church where she served for years as a Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Treasurer.  Jean was also a member of the Tulls Hill Ladies Missionary Class and a member of the Choir.

She was a hardworking and loving Mother who was willing to help anyone in need, even if it meant her doing without. She enjoyed going to yard sales with her sister Nancy to see what "treasures" they could find. She never wanted much and was happy with what she had. She always said if she needed something God would provide. She always had a sense of humor and was a blessing to all who knew her. Jean will be greatly missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 9-11AM with a Funeral Service at 11AM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with Pastor Steve Corbett officiating.

Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
