Thomas H.  Williams, 93, of Egolf Road, Colerain Twp., Bedford went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at home with his loving wife Anetta of 58 years of marriage by his side.

Mr. Williams was born in Rainsburg, PA on August 19, 1927, son of the late Elwood and Mae (Simons) Williams.

On June 23, 1962 Thomas married Anetta L. (Fickes) Williams at the Leamersville Church of the Brethren.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers- Carl, Walter and Howard Williams and 4 sisters- Dorothy Flynn, Mable Deleoleos, Margaret Williams and Helen Schultz.

Tom was a 1945 graduate of Bedford High School. After graduation he continued to work on the family dairy farm and was always so proud to say he worked on the family farm milking cows and making maple syrup.

He entered the U.S. Army and served 2 years with his completion being in 1957.

Tom then went to work at Kennametal where he spent 35 years working with most of his time being in the tool and cutter grinding department with the last 5 or so years being the head of the department. Tom received special recognition and a letter that meant a lot to him for his dedication as an employee  and also for his good ideas that they were able to put to use at Kennametal.

He was a life member of the Bedford County Sportsman’s Club, NRA and a very proud member of the Red Birds Baseball Team from Rainsburg.

Tom was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting deer and turkey, he enjoyed watching football and baseball and one of his greatest joys was spending time with family and friends and planning reunions. Tom enjoyed spending his vacation time at Hilton Head for about 25 Summers.

He was a member of Bedford Church of Brethren and served on the church board for many years and was involved in many major projects there.

Tom had many people in his life that was special to him and he always enjoyed his visits with Jack and Eli. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford from 10:00-11:00AM with a Funeral service at 11:00AM with Pastor Beckie Zeek and Pastor John Bennett officiating.

Interment at Woods Church Cemetery.

Masks and social distancing is suggested.

A special thanks to Family Hospice Nurses and Caregivers- Phyllis, Janet, Jackie and Judy  for their kindness and great care.
