Terry E Fix

Terry E. Fix, age 71, of Bedford, PA , died at 4:13 PM, Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 peacefully  at , Bethany Beach, DE.

Mr. Fix was born in Six Mile Run, Broad Top Township on June 27, 1947.  He was the son of the late Bill L. and Betty (Ickes) Fix.

He was employed as a treater machine operator for Westinghouse and Bedford Materials from 1969 - 2010.

Terry was a member of  the Trans Run United Methodist Church.  He was an avid hunter, enjoyed Penn State sporting events, riding his ATV, spending Friday nights at the Bedford Speedway and loved vacationing with family at the beach.  Terry was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post 113,  Fort Bedford Region of AACA, and the Bedford County Sportsmen's Club.

He served in the U.S. Army as an auto mechanic and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Sharpshooter Rifle and Vietnam Service Medal.

Terry was the husband of Madelyn  (Naugle)  Fix whom he married on August 1, 1970.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Eric Z. husband of  Christy (Vensel) Kidd, Bedford; Son- John W. husband of  Tonya (Littlefield) Fix, Bedford. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren- Brittany and Jeff Kidd and his grand dog - Wilson.  Terry was preceded in death by his brother Gary Fix.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 11:00 on Monday, August 6th, 2018  with Pastor Jennifer Ward officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park. Graveside military rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
