Mrs. Miller was born in New Paris on Friday, February 19, 1926, the daughter of the late Norman and Prudence (Fleegle) Miller.
On January 11, 1946, she married Stanford G. Miller.
In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Ronald L. husband of Kaye (Long) Miller, Naples, FL; Daughter- Deborah A. wife of Donald Updyke, Johnstown; Son- Randy K. husband of Wanda (Moore) Miller, Alum Bank; Sister- Amber Dull, Duncansville; Sister- Betty Checkeye, Alum Bank; Sister- Doris Richendoller, Orlando, FL; Brother- Donald Miller, New Paris. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Dustin Updyke, Rebecca Mills, Megan Miller and Kimberly Rabideau, and five great grandchildren, Isabella, Olivia, Gabrielle, Bridgette and Andrew. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Cubin Miller, Albert Miller, Henry Miller and Robert Miller and by five sisters, Ardis Myers, Maxine Robb, Ethel Kinzey and infant twin sisters, Geraldine and Erdine
Sylvia was a homemaker
A Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Quaker Valley Road, Pleasantville at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 18th, 2011 with Pastor Robert Stultz officiating.
Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
