Susan K. (Egolf) Callihan

Mrs. Susan K. Callihan, 62, of Buena Road, Schellsburg died at 1:12 PM, Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Mrs. Callihan was born in Bedford on Tuesday, February 19, 1952,  the daughter of the late J. Joseph and Betty J. (Patti) Egolf.

On June 12, 1971, she married Veryl J. Callihan.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Timothy A. Callihan (Elaine), Alum Bank; Daughter- Jody L. wife of  Jason Mickle, Osterburg; Grandchildren- Jolynn & Bryce; Brother- Thomas H. Egolf (Heather), Schellsburg; Sister- Cathy A. Bush (Howard), Schellsburg; Sister- Gail Montreal (Michael), Schellsburg and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death infant twin sons, Jacob Howard Callihan & Joseph Harry Callihan.

Susan was a 1970 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School.  She was a member of the Christ Victory Church in New Buena Vista, where she was also employed as a secretary for 18 1/2 years.  Susan enjoyed playing cards and traveling.  She was a loving wife and a doting mother & grandmother.  Susan will be missed by all.

A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Victory Church, Manns Choice at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20th, 2015  with Pastor Patrick Murphy officiating.

Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Susan to the Christ Victory Church, 470 Buena Road, Manns Choice, PA 15559.
