Steven J. Galson

Mr. Steven J. Galson, 56, of Patio Ranch Road, Bedford, died at 12:27 PM, Monday, April 2nd, 2012 at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

Mr. Galson was born in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 1, 1955,  the son of the late Frank and Dorothy (Polka) Galson.

On November 10, 1979, he married Debra J. (Sarver) Galson. In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Amanda D. Galson, Pittsburgh; Daughter- Amber M. wife of  Rocky Goldizen, Bedford; Son- Steve J. Galson, Jr., Monaca. He is also survived by two twin grandsons, Xander and Xavier and by a puppy named Shyanne.  He was raised with eight brothers and two sisters.

Steve was retired from the United States Air Force.  He was proud of his service to his country and always kept current on happenings within the Air Force.  Steve was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Moose Lodge #480.  He enjoyed fishing, trips to the zoo, building models and he loved spending time with his grandsons.

A Memorial Service will be held at at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 5th, 2012.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
