Stephen J Lazorka

Stephen J. Lazorka, 65, of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at UPMC Bedford.

Stephen was born in Jersey Shore, PA. on August 13, 1957, son of the late Joseph and Marilyn Lazorka.

On November 24, 1989, Stephen married his wife Betsy (Houseknecht).

In addition to his wife- Betsy Lazorka, he is survived by son- Mitchell Stephen Lazorka, Bedford; son- Conner J. Lazorka, Bedford; daughter- Caitlyn C. Lazorka, Baltimore; granddaughter- Finley Lazorka; sister- Karen wife of Tom Ergott, of Jersey Shore, PA.; sister- Tina wife of Chuck Ankney, of Lock Haven; sister- Susan wife of Bob Phillips, of Jersey Shore, PA.; brother- Dan  husband of Pam Lazorka, of S. Williamsport, PA.; brother- Jim husband of Beth Lazorka, Montoursville, PA.; along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Stephen was preceded in death by infant brother David Lazorka.

Stephen was affiliated with the Trinity Lutheran Church.

He was a meat cutter at Giant Eagle and worked part time at the Bedford Elks bowling. Stephen had 33 300 games in bowling, he enjoyed golf, football and basketball.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1-3PM at the Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 3 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor David Weinhold officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Zork Memorial Fund which will be used to pay tribute to Zork. Donations can be dropped off at Altoona First Savings Bank or the Bedford Elks Bowling Center.
