Shirley Y. ((Bowser)) Hook

Mrs. Shirley Y. Hook, age 81, of Bedford, formerly of Rainsburg, died at 12:08 PM, Friday, November 23rd, 2018 at Pennknoll Village, Snake Spring Twp.

Shirley was born in Osterburg, PA on June 19, 1937, daughter of the late Arthur J. and Dorothy M.(Clark) Bowser.

She is survived by  Brother- Kenneth E. husband of  Ruth (Hengst) Bowser, Osterburg, PA; Sister- Darlene M. wife of  Barry Winger, Sharpsville, PA.  Shirley was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Shirley was the widow of Herman Hook whom she married on February 15, 1958 he preceded her in death on January 25, 2010.

Shirley was employed at G.C. Murphy's, Fairfoot Shoe Factory, and Cannondale as well as a Housewife.

She was of Protestant Faith.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 12:30 - 2:00 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 27th,  with Pastor Charles Miller officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park Bedford, PA.
