Mr. Sheldon Blair Ford, 69, of Whistlestop Road, Everett, passed away Monday, February 9th, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mr. Ford was born in Snake Spring Twp. on Monday, September 24, 1945,  the son of the late Walter E. and Dorothy E. (Wolfhope) Ford.

He is survived by a sister- Shirley, two brothers, Eugene husband of Gloria (Wambaugh) & James Ford, all of Everett; one niece, Krystal wife of  Aaron Turkenton, East Freedom; one nephew, Timothy husband of  Judith (Whitcomb) Ford, Everett; & one great niece, Latisha wife of Garin Wilkins, Manns Choice.

Sheldon attended Bedford High School.  He worked on a dairy farm in his younger years and later with Ford's Lawn Service and Spring to Fall Lawn Care for 26 years before retiring.  Sheldon was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Everett.

He enjoyed watching the Pirates, Steelers and Penn State Football and working outdoors.  He will be missed by his family and friends and his little dog friend, Bailey.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Everett at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 13th, 2015 with Father Derek Fairman celebrant.

Committal will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Bedford.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Raystown Road, Everett, where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 6:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sheldon to the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 161 East 1st Avenue, Everett, PA 15537.
