Sharlene J. (Feathers) McCoy

Mrs. Sharlene J. McCoy, 53, of Harvest Drive, New Paris (Fishertown) passed away Monday, April 28th, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. McCoy was born in Roaring Spring on Thursday,  August 18, 1960,  the daughter of  Melvin E. and Viola G. (Benton) Feathers of Imler.

On December 8, 1990, she married Troy G. McCoy.  In addition to her husband she is survived by her parents and  Brother- Dwayne M. husband of  Cindy (Miller) Feathers, Everett; Sister- Susan G. wife of  Roger Bender, Altoona; Brother- Neil D. husband of Beth (Fluke) Feathers, Claysburg; Niece- Danette Feathers, Everett.

Sharlene was a graduate of Claysburg-Kimmell High School and attended of the Pleasant Hill Bible Church in Imletown.  She was employed as a waitress for many years, first at Dunkin Donuts in Bedford then later at Bedford County Hospital Snack Bar.  Sharlene enjoyed gardening, going to craft shows, her cats, shopping, decorating her home and being with her family.  She will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Pleasant Hill Bible Church, Imlertown at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 2nd, 2014  with Pastor Sean McGill officiating.

Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville.
