Sara R. Oyler

Sara R. Oyler, 97, of  Barclay Drive, Bedford died Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home, Bedford.

Mrs. Oyler was born in New Buena Vista, PA on April 4, 1923, daughter of the late George and Essie (Kerr) Geller.

On October 13, 1951 Sara married William E. Oyler. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2001.

She is survived by Daughter- Donna L. wife of  Richard Rose, Rosenburg, TX;  Son- Paul "Pete" E. husband of  Charlotte (Ellis) Oyler, Bedford; Daughter- Bonnie L. wife of  Jay Knisely, Bedford, PA; Son- Thomas H. Oyler, Everett, PA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 7 great- great grandchildren. Sara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers- Paul and John Geller and sister- Vesta Renchy.

Sara was a cook in the school cafeteria for Bedford Area School District.

She was a member of  Bedford United Methodist Church.

A private Family Service will be held with Jim Miller officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
