Sandra "Sandie" L. (Miller) Swindell

Sandra "Sandie" Swindell, 65, of  Wayne Blvd., Alum Bank, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Blair County.

Mrs. Swindell was born in Bedford on November 18, 1955, daughter of the late Henry E. and Catherine (Finnegan) Miller.

On April 6, 1975 Sandra married Dennis E. Swindell.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter- Angie wife of  Michael Garrett, Alum Bank; Son- Andrew husband of  Jessica (Yoder) Swindell, New Paris; 5 Grandchildren Carter, Cameron, Kyle, Anthony and Lydia; Sister- Judy Knee, Snake Spring Twp.; Sister- Barbara wife of  Rick Emerick, Schellsburg.  Sandie was preceded in death by infant twin brothers- Phillip and Dennis, infant sister- Mary Jane and infant brother- Brian Henry.

Sandie was affiliated with the Faith Brethren Bible Church, New Paris.

She enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, crocheting and in her younger days she enjoyed fishing. Sandie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
