Samuel S. "Buddy" Cooper

Mr. Samuel S. "Buddy"  Cooper, 70, of Freedom Lane, Schellsburg, died Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Cooper was born in Monroe, CT on June 9, 1947,  the son of the late Charles T. and Dorothy (Knowles) Cooper.

He is survived by his former wife and life companion, Linda J. (Gudas) Cooper.   In addition to Linda, he is survived by  Daughter- Samantha wife of Mark Diehl, New Paris; Daughter- Kimberly April, Schellsburg; Daughter- Amanda Cooper-Cline wife of Robert Cline, High Point, NC; Grandchildren- Christopher, Brady, Noah, Jack & Alex; Sister- Jean K. wife of Clyde Brooks, Phoenix.

Buddy was affiliated with the United Church of Schellsburg.  He was employed as a general contractor and worked in construction.  Buddy was a member of the Ashlar-Aspetuka Masonic Lodge #142 F & AM in Easton, CT, where he was a Past Master.  He was a wonderful man, a loving father and grandfather, a devoted brother and a loyal friend. He will be greatly missed.  MTYLTT

A memorial service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 12th, 2018 with a Masonic Service at 1:30 PM and a memorial service at 2:30 PM with Pastor Linda Kibler officiating.
