Samuel T. "Sammy Super Trucker" Hartman, 72, of Spring Field Road, Bedford went to his eternal home with Jesus on Friday, December 10, 2021 at home.
Mr. Hartman was born in Bedford, PA on March 18, 1949, son of the late Thomas and Catherine (Lohr) Hartman.
On October 31, 1998 Samuel married Patricia C. (Yauger) Hartman.
In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Susan husband of Mark Strait, Hopewell; Son-in-law Erik Mahoney, South Carolina; Daughter- Kim and Family, Texas; Daughter- Andra and Family, Tennessee ; Grandchildren Krista, Brandi, Tommy and Nicholas; Great-grandchildren Harper, Reagan, Lincoln and Laura; Sister- Sandy wife of Tony Wagoner II, Friends Cove; Brother- William husband of Jean Hartman, Friends Cove; Brother- Mitch husband of Mary Hartman, Friends Cove and Special Son Bobby Barton. Samuel was preceded in death by his daughter- Renee Mahoney, father-in-law, James Yauger Sr., and brother-in-law James Yauger Jr.
Mr. Hartman served his county in the U.S. Army.
Sammy Super Trucker was an owner/operator Truck Driver for Jones Motor Frieght.
He was a member of Friends Cove UCC Double Brick Church.
Sam was a member of the Breezewood VFW.
Sammy touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 15, 2021at Friends Cove UCC Double Brick Church, Friend Cove, PA from Noon-2:00PM with a Funeral Service held at 2:00PM with Dr. Rev. Bill Shrout officiating.
Interment at Friends Cove UCC Cemetery, Friends Cove, PA.
Military Rites accorded by Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
