Russell L. Feathers, Sr.

Mr. Russell L. Feathers, Sr., 66, of Main Road, Bedford, died Monday, December 25th, 2017 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Feathers was born in Bedford on July 15, 1951,  the son of the late Arnold D. and Anita P. (Strawmyer) Feathers.

On February 24, 1971, he married Debbie L. (Gordon) Feathers.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Michele wife of Erick Delp, Windsor; Son- Russell L. Feathers, Jr., York; Son- Randy husband of Briana (Branch) Feathers, Florida; Son- Michael Feathers and fiancee Darian (Little), Illinois; Grandchildren- Brogan, Ben, Everett, and Emalyn (on the way); Brother- Ronald Feathers, Altoona; Sister- Janet wife of Homer Weyandt, Bedford; Brother- Steve husband of Anita Feathers, Osterburg; Brother- Brett Feathers, Bedford; Sister- Julie wife of Dan Chapel, Bedford.

Russ loved the Lord and was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church in Claysburg.  He was a machinist for Caterpillar Inc. for 28 years.  He loved computers, and ran a computer repair service.  Russ was a big Donald Trump supporter.  He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, enjoyed hunting and loved his dog, Louie.  Russ was a wonderful husband, a loving father, a devoted grandfather, a loyal brother and a good friend.  He will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 with Pastor Erik Lingenfelter officiating.

Interment will be held at Everett Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 10:00 am  - 12 Noon at the Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
