Russell E. "Rusty" Wertz, Jr.

Russell E. "Rusty" Wertz, Jr., 51, of W. Pitt Street, Bedford, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at home.

Mr. Wertz was born in Snake Spring Twp., PA on December 7, 1969, son of Freda Sides and the late  Russell E. Wertz, Sr.

He is survived by his-  Mother Freda wife of  Glenn Sides, Manns Choice; Son- Seth Wertz, Manns Choice; Daughter- Haley Wertz, North Carolina; Fiancé  Trish Carey, Bedford; Brother- David Wertz, Schellsburg; Sister- Rhonda Divley, Bedford; Sister- Cathy Fix, Texas; Brother- Earl Wertz, Bedford; Sister- Pam Deasey, Bedford; Sister- Sandra Smith, Bedford.  Rusty was preceded in death by his father Russell and sister- Connie Eshelman.

He was an installer with Acoustical Solutions in Bedford.

Rusty was an avid Steelers fan and he greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 4-6PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 6:00PM on Wednesday, September 15th,  with Pastor Brady Plummer officiating.
