Roy "Abe" Fisher, Jr.
January 20, 1934 — January 25, 2014
Mr. Fisher was born in Napier Township on Saturday, January 20, 1934, the son of the late Roy Fisher, Sr. and Katie (Logue) Fisher.
On October 9, 1955, he married Wilma J. (Adams) Fisher. In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Cathy Joan Fisher widow of Pete Robinson, Everett; Son- Wade A. Fisher and husband Todd Butler, San Diego, CA; Son- Brad R. husband of Kristy Fisher, Lawrenceville, GA; Siblings- Beverly, Ross, Ronald and Norma; Mother-in-Law- Rita Adams, Bedford. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Megan, Morgan, Mateo, Lane, William, Nico, Akela & Lily. He was preceded in death by five siblings, John, Mary, Emma Jane, Claire & Shirley
Abe was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church and served in the US Army. He was first employed as parts manager at Thomas Chevrolet in Bedford and then retired as warehouse manager from JLG in Bedford.
A private graveside service will be held Bedford County Memorial Park with Pastor Jesse Topper officiating.
