Mr. Roy J. Leppert, age 93, of New Paris, (Fishertown) died Thursday, January 22nd, 2015 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Pallative Care Unit in Johnstown, .
Mr. Leppert was born in ,  on Friday July 22, 1921,  in Napier Township son of Lester and Lilly (Nunamaker) Leppert.  On October 7, 1945 he married Betty Mae (Rose) Leppert and she preceded him in death on March 15, 1997..
.He is survived by Son- Boyd J. Leppert,of Sacramento, CA, Daughter - Bonnie M. wife of Randy Kaiser, of Schellsburg, Son - Dennis Roy married to the former Robin Hollingshead of Fishertown,Daughter -  Marilyn S. wife of Homer Krug of Ashville,Daughter -  Beth A. wife of John Gowaty of Central City. Eleven grandchildren & Fourteen great-grandchildren also survive along with a Brother - L. Donald Leppert of Osterburg, Sisters - Bivian Smith, & Vera Beegle both of Bedford, Sister - Genevieve College of Manns Choice and Sister- Anna Jane Fisher of Bedford.
.Mr.Leppert was preceded in death by Daughters- Lilly Leppert and Diana Ferguson, Brothers - Irvin and Howard Leppert.
Roy was a member of the Point United Methodist Church and a director of Bethel Camp Campground. He was employed as a builder for Staplefield  Construction in Duncansville, an independent truck driver for himself and New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. and was a lifelong farmer.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at  the Point United Methodist Church with Rev. Emily Byrd, officiating.   Interment in the Fishertown Cemetery.   Friends are invited to call at Geisel Funeral Home in Schellsburg on Saturday 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM and at the Church on Sunday from 1:30 until time of service.
