Ronald Paul Lindsey

Mr. Ronald Paul Lindsey, 54, of Sams St., Bedford, went home to be with the Lord and family members on Thursday, May 28th, 2015 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Mr. Lindsey was born in Roaring Spring on Saturday, July 9, 1960, the son of Doris M. (Berkey) Lindsey of Osterburg the and the late Paul E. Lindsey.

Ronnie and his companion, Lois Jean Dunmeyer were together for 35 years.  She preceded him in death on December 18, 2014.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by  Daughter- Christy Dawn Lindsey, Bedford; Son- Adam Paul Lindsey, Bedford; Step Son- Bobbie husband of  Amanda (Smith) Dunmeyer, Fishertown; Brother- Barry E. Lindsey, Osterburg; Brother- Troy W. husband of  Tonya Lindsey, Virginia; Brother- Curtis A. husband of  Song Lindsey, Tennessee. He is also survived by five step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Trudy Feaster..

Ronnie was a 1978 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School.  He worked in various aspects of the construction field during his life.  Ronnie was member of the Bedford Moose Lodge #480 and an associate member of the Bedford VFW Post #7527.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Ronnie was a wonderful son, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 1st, 2015 with Pastor James Neatrour officiating.

Interment will be held at Pavia Cemetery .

Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Pleasantville.
