Mr. Ronald W. Remaley, 77, of Leader Road, Everett, died at 3:24 PM, Tuesday, April 16th, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Remaley was born in Jefferson County on Friday, April 26, 1935, the son of the late John and Cecile (States) Remaley.
On September 19, 1989, he married Barbara S. (Collins) Remaley. In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Robin Marshall, Florida; Son- Christopher husband of Roni Remaley, Maryland; Son- Curtis husband of Valerie Remaley, Deleware; Step Son- Gary Bennett, Everett; Step Daughter- Tammy wife of Joe Rhodes, North Carolina; Step Daughter- Rebecca wife of Kenneth Bettes, Maryland; Brother- Edward Lyle Remaley, Brookville. Ron is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Remaley.
Ron served as a corporal in the US Army. He was employed as a driver for Giant Foods in Maryland and volunteered with the Bedford County Red Cross. Ron was a former member of the Everett Lions Club and was of the Protestant Faith. He was a gifted woodworker and loved vegetable gardening. Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather who took great joy from the time he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Raystown Road, Everett at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20th, 2013 with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home in Everett.
