Ronald Bloom

Ronald L. Bloom, 79, of Osterburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona.

Ronald was born in Bedford on May 8, 1944, son of the late to Fred and Ivadeen (DaBella) Price and adopted parents Dave and Cora Bloom.

On April 28, 1967, he married his wife, Barbara Lybarger.

He is survived by brother- Randy Price, of Everett; sister- Sharon Keel, of Bedford; sister- Connie DaBella, of VA.; sister- Vicky wife of Joe Loscalzo, of NJ; sister- Terry DaBella, of NJ; nephew- Walter Hughes, of New Paris; and other numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald is preceded in death by brother Fred and sister Sherry.

Ronald was laborer in the brickyard, night watchman and the maintenance man at the Bedford Springs. He was an avid hunter and fisherman wish a passion for raccoon hunting.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 10-11 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 11 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home with Reverend William Lybarger officiating.
