Mr. Robert Leroy Logsdon, Jr., 82, of W. South Street, Everett, died at 9:45 PM, Thursday, October 1st, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Logsdon was born in Cessna on Saturday, June 3, 1933, the son of the late Robert Leroy Logsdon, Sr. and Alma (Tyler) Logsdon.
On January 17, 1952, he married Charlotte Fay (King) Logsdon. She preceded him in death on December 3, 2010.
He is survived by Daughter- Connie wife of Robert Simmons, Everett; Son- Barry Logsdon, Everett; Daughter- Linda wife of Gary Bisher, Saxton; Grandchildren- Scott Bisher & Cherie Helsel; Great Grandsons- Jason & Joshua Helsel; Sister- Betty wife of James Sheirer, Greenville. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward & Ronald.
Bob was a retired steelworker for Bethlehem Steel and worked as a self employed residential painter. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed going on car rides, doing jigsaw puzzles, roller-skating and was known as a practical joker, always playing around and making his family laugh. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend and he will be greatly missed for his quick-wit and ornery spirit.
A funeral service was held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Everett on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert Robertson officiating.
Interment was held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
Visitation was held from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the Everett Funeral Home.
