Robert L. Wilson

Mr. Robert L. Wilson, 73, of Industrial Ave., Bedford, died at 3:29 AM, Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.
Mr. Wilson was born in Colerain Township on Tuesday, January 9, 1940, the son of the late Earl R. and Sara J. (Steele) Wilson.
On December 5, 1965, he married Betty J. (Hite) Wilson. In addition to his wife he is survived by Step Daughter- Barbara Sheirer, Litiz; Step Son- Ed Basore, Duncansville; Brother- Paul husband of Helen Wilson, Monroeville; Sister- Alberta Rose, Bedford; Sister- Patricia Mock, Georgia; Sister- Barbara wife of Jerry Miller, Bedford. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren, and nine step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Gary Basore and three sisters, Mildred, Dorothy and Carolyn.
Bob was a member of the Protestant Faith. He was employed at Overnite Transportation Company as a terminal manager and was a member of the Bedford American Legion, Post #113. Bob was considered a Jack of All Trades and enjoyed tinkering and spending time on the computer.
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 8th, 2013 with Pastor Robert Stultz officiating.
Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park
Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Bedford.
