Richard L. Speicher

Mr. Richard L. Speicher, 61, of Jersey Shore, PA died Thursday, April 16th, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Speicher was born in Bedford on Wednesday, May 27, 1953,  the son of Meredith D. Speicher and the late Shirley M. (Hillegass) Speicher

He was the husband of Marie (Wartella) Speicher.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his step mother, Raye (Whetstone) Diehl Speicher of Manns Choice, his wife, Marie,  daughter- Julia Speicher, Portland, OR; son- Richard A. Speicher, Jersey Shore, PA; brother- David D. husband of  Carla (Becourt) Speicher, Hopewell & his first wife- Gretchen (Rearick) Speicher.

Richard was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Rauchtown.  He graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and did his graduate studies at Penn State.  Richard worked as a self employed CPA.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an excellent photographer.  Richard as a loving son, husband, father, brother & friend and he will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Christ Victory Church, Buena Road, Manns Choice at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 with Pastor Pat Murphy officiating.

Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 4:00 -8:00 PM at the church in New Buena Vista.
