Richard W. Nesbit

Richard W. Nesbit, 83, West Sunset Lane, Bedford died at 5:30 PM, Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 at Pennknoll Village, Snake Spring Twp.

Mr. Nesbit was born in Murrysville, PA on January 4, 1936, son of the late Neal and Belva (Swartzwelder) Nesbit-Diehl.

On April 4, 1967 Richard married Mitz (Ah-Sun) Nesbit.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Susan wife of  Bulu Lu, Taiwan; Daughter- Lillian wife of  Bill Lowry, Richmond, VA; Son- Stephen husband of  Hejaz (Shaw) Nesbit, Topsham, ME; Son- Gerald husband of  Shallin (Cheng) Nesbit, Reston, VA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Richard is preceded in death by Brother- Thomas C. Nesbit.

Richard was the owner/operator of Nesbit's TV and Radio Shack.

Mr. Nesbit retired from United States Armed Forces with 13 years in active Air Force, and 7 years in U.S. Navy reserve.

He was a member of the Bedford Elks and the Bedford American Legion Post 113.

A private service will be held.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.
