Renee Christine (Imler) Mahoney

Renee Christine Mahoney, born April 12, 1975, departed this life on February 20, 2020. She grew up in Bedford, PA and was  a graduate of Bedford High School, class of 1993.

She was the loving wife, and mother to husband, Erick Mahoney and son Nicholas Mahoney. She is the middle daughter of Sam and Patty Hartman and close friend and confidant to Louise Henry, Autumn Steele-Pack and Fred Oaks.

Renee was known for her love of life, family, friends and compassion to help others. Besides her husband, son and parents she is survived by grandmother- Josephine Yauger; Sisters, Susan (Mark) Strait, Hopewell, PA; Andra (Ben)Honaker of Kodak, TN; Sisters-in-law Carolyn Jenkins and Brenda Mahoney of Dalzell, SC; Linda Mahoney of Columbia, SC; brothers-in-law Legrand Oaks Jr.  of Sumter, SC and Thomas Oaks of Newark, New Jersey: a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by Robert E. Imler and family.  She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Yauger Sr.; father-in-law Legrand Oaks Sr.; mother-in-law Evelyn Mahoney, grandmother-in- law Evelyn Jefferson and uncle, James Yauger Jr.

Friends will be received on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 10-11AM at Friends Cove United Church of Christ.

A Homecoming Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11:00AM at Friends Cove United Church of Christ with Rev. Dr. Bill Shrout officiating.

Interment at Friends Cove United Church of Christ Cemetery.
