Mr. Ralph E. Wright, 80, of McCreary Lane, New Paris (Fishertown), died at 8:05 PM, Wednesday, June 5th, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Wright was born in Conemaugh on Wednesday, July 20, 1932,  the son of the late George Blair and Fannie C. (Nichols) Wright.

He is survived by  Daughter- Cathy L. Rogers, State College; Son- James A. husband of  Teresa (Davis) Wright, Alum Bank; Daughter- Sharon R.  wife of  Dr. Mazen Khusayem, Morrisville, NC; Son- George B. husband of  Cindy (Disney) Wright, Hollidaysburg; Former Wife -  Minnie C. (Wingert) Wright, New Paris; Brother- Fred husband of  Joanne Wright, Windber. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Nicolas A. Rogers, Cassandra & Laura Wright, Tameem, Dania, Kenaan & Hadeel Khusayem and Derek & Gavin Wright.  He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Thalia Khusayem; infant brother, Robert; sister Twilia and her husband Ralph Frame; and sister Mary Daryl and her husband Deno Mastrine.

Ralph served in the United States Air Force in Germany during the Korean Conflict.  He was employed as a steelworker and pourer for Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown for 42 years.  Ralph's a member of the Chestnut Ridge Gun Club and was an avid hunter who enjoyed traveling to all 48 continental states.

A Funeral Service will be held at Faith Brethren Bible Church, New Paris at 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 with Pastor James Espenshade officiating.

Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.  Graveside military rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg
