Mr. Quentin R. Rininger, 90, of Valley Road, Fishertown died at 4:23 PM, Wednesday, August 29th, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Rininger was born in E. St. Clair Township on Saturday, March 11, 1922, the son of the late Professor Chester A. Rininger and Amy E. (Bender) Rininger.
He is survived by his wife, Chelsea (Nunamaker) Bowser-Diehl-Rininger; Son- Braddon R. Rininger, New Paris; Son- Brett B. Rininger, Chambersburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, including his grandson, Brooke B. Rininger, and ten great grandchildren, including, John Quentin Rininger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first two wives, Eris G. "Tootie" (Stahl) Rininger and Margaret (Hinton) Daugherty-Rininger. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Alden Rininger, Phyllis Rininger, Bernard B. Rininger, Theodore F. Rininger, Lois Brown and Kathern
Mr. Rininger was employed as a truck driver for Eastern Express and then as a life insurance salesman for Baltimore Life. He was a farmer and was the developer and owner of the former Bedford County Cart Track.
A Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Pleasantville at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 with Pastor Abner Kauffman officiating.
Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
