Phyllis L. (Fisher) Sellers

Phyllis L (Fisher) Sellers, 76, of Imlertown Road, Bedford passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ , on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital after a battle with pneumonia.

She was born to her loving parents, the late Isaac R. and Raida V. (Anderson) Fisher in Hacker Valley, WV on October 11, 1943.

She married Carl L. Sellers on November 30, 1968 at Jerry's Run Methodist Church in Hacker Valley, WV. He survives along with daughters Kristina and Lora both of Bedford. Phyllis is also survived by sisters Sharon Davis Hand  of Tuscumbia, AL; Barbara of Hacker Valley, WV; Sonja (Kim) LeVan of Schuylkill Haven, PA; Colleen Anderson of New Creek, WV and brother William (Janet) of Hacker Valley, WV as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in law and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved as if they were her own children.

Waiting for her at the gates of heaven were her parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, her oldest daughter Rebecca, a sister Wilma Jeanne Myers and brother Larry Fisher.

She loved her cat Midnight and her Grand-dog Pugsley, who both will miss her loving touch. Her hobbies included coloring, painting, crafting, writing poems and songs and getting on Facebook. She also had a passion for Genealogy.

She was a former member of Pleasant Hill Church in Imlertown, where she was a Sunday School teacher, youth group leader and participated in Women's Serving Christ. She was also a former member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Dutch Corner.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 10-11AM at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00AM at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.

Interment at Messiah Lutheran Church Cemetery.
