Peggy E. (Martz) Furda

Mrs. Peggy E. Furda, 54, of Quaker Valley Road, New Paris, died Sunday, April 15th, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Furda was born in Trenton, New Jersey on June 26, 1963,  the daughter of the late Louis and Sandra (Hurst) Martz.

On June 6, 1985, she married David M. Furda.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter- Melissa A. wife of  Ricky Zelanko, Bedford; Daughter- Jessica L. wife of  Damien Weyandt, Northern Cambria; Son- Nicholas I. Furda, Holsopple; Sister- Kathleen Packard, Lewistown. Peggy is also survived by seven grandchildren, Shelby, Blake, Dakota, Bailee, Lucas, Jacob & Chance. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason.

Peggy was a homemaker and a member of the Multiple Myeloma Awareness Group.  She was a lovely woman, a wonderful wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a devoted sister and a good friend. Peggy will be greatly missed.
