Pauline A. (Herling) Ferguson

Pauline A. Ferguson, 93, of Valley Road, Schellsburg died Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at home with her daughter by her side.

Mrs. Ferguson was born on the family farm on Tulls Hill on January 3, 1926, daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Defibaugh) Herline. Pauline was the last of her immediate family.

On February 6, 1947 Pauline married Ralph D. Ferguson. He preceded her in death on August 15, 2002.

She is survived by  Daughter- D. Jean Ferguson, Schellsburg and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, Parents and Sister Marie and Brother-in-law John Davis.

She was a graduate of the Schellsburg Napier High School.

Pauline worked at GC Murphy in Bedford.

Up until the last few years Pauline was an active Charter member of Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.

Pauline liked to garden, enjoyed working on the farm with her husband and daughter and loved being outdoors. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 3-5PM  and Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 1:00-1:30PM at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, New Paris.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, New Paris at 1:30PM on Sunday, December 22, 2019 with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.

A Committal will be held at the church.

Interment at Fishertown Cemetery.
