Paul D. Yarnell, 90, of (Lovely)  Alum Bank, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center of natural causes.

Mr. Yarnell was born in Beaverdale, PA on February 18, 1930, to the late Burt C. and Irene Yarnell.

Paul is survived by his wife, Marlene (Gerula) Yarnell of 63 years; son- Greg married to Margie (Barefoot) of Bedford; son- Mick married to Joanne (Cessna) Yarnell of Bedford; daughter- Vicki married to Randy Owings of Lovely; daughter Stacy married to Ken Adamek of Kentucky and a brother- Thomas Yarnell of Lovely. Paul has 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson- Tyler Ownings, Brothers- Burt (June), J. Frank,  Charles and Infant Brother George Yarnell.

He was a member and faithfully attended Mount Union UMC.

He worked beside his father in the Coal Mines before enlisting in the Army in 1959 through 1961. At that time, Paul’s proudest moments were getting married and serving as a Corporal in Germany.

Paul was a self-employed, owner/ operator Truck Driver for the majority of his life in which his wife drove with him after their children were grown. He was also the constable of Lovely for many years. He hosted and enjoyed the Annual Yarnell Pig Roast.

Of all the things Paul did in his life, his family was his greatest accomplishment.

A private viewing will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Alum Bank.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mount Union Methodist Church with Pastor Eric Larson officiating.

Interment at Mount Union Cemetery.

Military Rights accorded by Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
