Paul D. Fochtman

Paul D. Fochtman, 80, of Manns Choice, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at his home.

Paul was born in New Baltimore on November 29, 1943, son of the late Lawrence "Dutch" and Elizabeth "Dolly" (Ellenberger) Fochtman.

He is survived by daughter- Cynthia L. Fochtman, of Schellsburg; son- Stephen P. husband of Joy (Imler) Fochtman, of New Paris; son- Michael S. Fochtman and companion Gail (Will), of New Baltimore; son- Christopher C. husband of Amy (Wilson) Fochtman, of New Paris; along with seven grandchildren: Luke, Lindsay, Megan, Michael, Brittany, Gabe, Evelyn; and twelve great-grandchildren; sister- Joyce wife of Ray Lohr, of VA. Paul is preceded in death by brothers: James, William, Alfred and companion Myra Albright.

Paul was a member of St. Johns The Baptist Church in New Baltimore.

He graduated from Berlin Brothersvalley High School in the class of 1961.

He was a construction worker at Stabler Construction. He was a member of the Berlin Fire Company, New Baltimore Sportsman's Club, and Schellsburg VFW 4440. Paul enjoyed horseshoe throwing, mushroom hunting, raccoon hunting, ginseng hunting, deer hunting and processing maple syrup.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, New Baltimore, on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 10 AM, with Father Mark Pattock, Celebrant.

Committal Services will be at St. Johns Cemetery, New Baltimore.
