Patsy Lou (Lambert) Shaffer

Patsy Lou Shaffer,  84, of  Wilt Hollow Road, Schellsburg passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.

Mrs. Shaffer was born in Stoystown on September 28, 1935 daughter of the late Lee and Elizabeth (Baker) Lambert of Lambertsville.

Patsy married Robert E. Shaffer in December 1972. She took joy in being married and raising their children together.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Clyde L. husband of  Theresa (Friedenberg) Lasure, Schellsburg; Daughter- Jennifer Kerrick, Schellsburg; Son- Shawn husband of  Tammy (Clark) Lasure, Schellsburg; Son- Jerry husband of  Terri (Beegle) Shaffer, Schellsburg; Daughter- Sherry wife of  Wayne Boozer, Schellsburg; Son- Robert Shaffer, Lancaster; Daughter- Cindy Eitner, Lancaster; Brother- Ned Lambert and fiance  Deb Shaffer, Lambertsville; Sister- Bonnie wife of  Bill Stutzman, Somerset. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren: Jessie, Josie, Bridget, Ricky, Heidi, Heather, Joshua, Seth, Timothy, Brandon, Jermey, Justin, Adam and Coty and 25 great grandchildren. Patsy was preceded in death by her Grandson- Jason; Sister- Fay Korns and Brother- Ted Lambert.

She was an extremely loving Nanny to her 15 grandchildren and blessed with 25 great-grandchildren. She lived her faith every day in the way that she lived her life. She enjoyed every holiday with her family and was the ultimate "Nanny" and was always there for her family.

Patsy enjoyed traveling to the big city of New York and loved watching sports and the cooking channel with her husband Bob.

She is going to be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Friends will be received on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 30th,  with Pastor Joy Blackburn officiating.

Interment at Helixville Cemetery.
