Patricia D. (Dingle) Mueller

Mrs. Mueller was born in Bobtown on Thursday, December 27, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Koval) Dingle.
On February 1, 1957, she married Bruce H. Mueller. In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Sherrick A. Mueller, Sarasota, FL; Son- Bruce E. husband of Andi Mueller, Bedford; Son- Douglas R. husband of Amy Mueller, Auburn, IN. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Sara & Shawn, a brother, Melvin and three sisters, Sally, Carolyn & Dorothy.
Pat was a 1956 graduate of West Penn Nursing School in Pittsburgh. In 1969, the family built a home and moved to Schellsburg, where Bruce worked at Westinghouse until his retirement. In the early 70's Pat began a nursing school at St. James Episcopal Church and many of her students went on to become successful members of society.
Pat moved on to selling advertisement for the Bedford Gazette and WBFD radio. It was during this time that many people became familiar with Pat and her ability to make others feel welcome. She then went on to be an extremely successful salesperson for Thomas Chevrolet, Bedford Ford and Fox Motor Sales. Pat earned many rewards and had great success wherever she worked. She was a past president of the BPW and UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital Boards and was an active member of the Bedford Hospital Auxiliary.
In 2006, at the age of 72, Pat fulfilled a lifelong dream of being a clown. She enrolled and graduated from "Up Town Clowns" Clown College in Largo, FL. Pat was fondly known throughout the area as "Tillie". As Tillie, Pat enjoyed visiting area nursing homes and brought many smiles to the residents with her constant need to please and her comforting attitude.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Tinity Lutheran Church in Bedford with Rev. Raymond Short officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Pat to the Trinity Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice.
