Onjolie Marie Mock

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, great-niece and friend, Onjolie Marie Mock. On June 4, 2021, at the age of 19, we lost this beautiful being who brought love and joy to our lives. She was an important part of our family who was loved very much and will be greatly missed.

Onjolie was born September 13, 2001, in Roaring Spring and grew up in Bedford County. She participated in dance and gymnastics. Onjolie would spend her summers with her great-aunt and uncle in California and moved to Canyon Country, California when she was 12 years old. Onjolie would go to work with her great-uncle in the summer and help with dog grooming.

Onjolie participated in AYSO soccer, was a member of Canyon High School dance team and attended First Christian Church in Everett. She enjoyed being on social media, shopping, fashion, listening to music, styling her hair and doing make-up. Onjolie had aspirations to attend cosmetology school.

Onjolie loved so many and was loved by so many more. She had an energy and personality that with even one encounter you would remember her. If you knew her well or barely at all, she left you thinking. Whether it was about her beauty or personality. Onjolie left her mark.

When you think of Onjolie, celebrate the good memories. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Even though Onjolie was only with us for a short period of time the impression she made on our hearts will remain for a lifetime.

Onjolie is survived by her mother, siblings, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-grandfather, uncle, great uncle and great aunts. She was preceded in death by her great-great grandmother, her grandfather, her father, her great-great-great grandmother and her beloved dog- Madeira.

A Memorial Service for Onjolie will be held at a later date.
