Olive C. (Sides) Christner

Mrs. Olive C. (Sides) Christner, 98, of Colonial Courtyard, formerly of Lancaster died Sunday, December 15th, 2013 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Christner was born in Juniata Township on Thursday, August 12, 1915,  the daughter of the late Harvey E. Sides and Ada (Shippey) Sides-Diehl.

She is survived by  Nephew- Barry husband of  Janet Leydig, Bedford; Nephew- Glenn husband of  Freda Sides, Manns Choice; Nephew- Roger husband of  Linda Sides, Manns Choice.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Leydig and a brother, Earl Sides

Olive was a member of the Dry Ridge Trinity United Church of Christ in Manns Choice.  She retired from Shick Inc in Lancaster .

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 19th, 2013 with Pastor Cheryl Ward officiating.

Interment will be held at  Dry Ridge Cemetery, Manns Choice.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
