Mrs. Odelia Mary Cook, 92, of Everett, formerly of Michigan, died at 3:44 PM, Monday, January 7th, 2013 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.
Mrs. Cook was born in Sultons Bay, MI on Sunday, November 28, 1920, the daughter of the late Friedolin "Fred" and Ella (Kadlec) Kaltenbach.
On December 22, 1992, she married Wilbur "Bud" Cook. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2009.
She is survived by Daughter- Rosalie Ann Nelson, MI; Son- Robert Arthur Eikey, MI; Daughter- Debra Kay wife of Stephen E. Perrin, Everett; Step Son- Jim husband of Sandy Cook, MI. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought her such joy and she loved each one of them very much
Odelia was affiliated with the ACTS Community Church in Bedford. She was employed as a custodian at Traverse City Sr. High School.
The Perrin's would like to give special thanks to Odelia's grandson David Miller and his wife Virginia of Bedford for all the time they spent being caregivers to Mrs. Cook. Their selfless generosity made it possible for Debra to continue working at Hoss's in Bedford and for Stephen to keep his hours at the Walmart Distribution Center.
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 10th, 2013 with Pastor John Bennett officiating.
Interment will be held at Ritchey Cemetery in Snake Spring Twp.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 10:30 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
